This Privacy Policy describes how Utility Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile applications published on the Apple App Store under the Utility Apps brand (each, an “App”).
By using any of our Apps, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Apps.
Our apps
This policy applies to all Utility Apps titles, including:

We may publish additional Apps in the future. This policy applies to those Apps as well unless we provide a separate policy for a specific App.
Summary
- We do not require accounts to use our Apps.
- Your documents and content are processed on your device unless an App clearly states otherwise.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Some free Apps show ads (Google AdMob). Subscriptions are handled by Apple.
Information we collect
Information you provide
Depending on the App, you may choose to:
- Select photos or files from your device
- Draw or upload signature images
- Save projects locally on your device
- Contact us through our support page
We do not collect the contents of your documents, PDFs, or images on our servers. Processing happens on your device unless an App explicitly describes cloud features.
Information collected automatically
Subscriptions (premium features)
If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes payment. We receive subscription status from Apple (e.g., whether you have an active entitlement) so we can unlock premium features. We do not receive your payment card details.
Advertising (free tier)
Some Apps show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect:
- Device identifiers (including the advertising identifier, IDFA, if you grant tracking permission)
- IP address and approximate location
- Ad interaction and performance data
- Device type, OS version, and language

Analytics
We do not currently use third-party analytics SDKs in our Apps. If that changes, we will update this policy.
Website (utilityapps.app)
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies through our hosting provider to measure traffic. See your browser settings and our site cookie notice for choices.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS, some Apps may ask for permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites for personalized advertising. You can deny this permission and still use the App. You can change your choice anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If you deny tracking, ads may still appear but may be less relevant.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate App features (e.g., verify subscription status)
- Show and measure ads in free versions
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
- Improve our Apps and fix issues
We do not use your document contents for advertising or training AI models.
Permissions
Our Apps may request iOS permissions such as:

Permission prompts explain each use at the time of request. You can revoke access in iOS Settings.
Data storage and retention
- On-device data (saved projects, signatures, drafts) stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Subscription records are retained by Apple according to Apple’s policies.
- Ad-related data is handled by Google AdMob according to their retention practices.
Sharing with third parties
We share information only with service providers that help us operate our Apps:

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.
We do not sell personal information.
Children’s privacy
Our Apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
International users
Our Apps are available in multiple countries. If you use an App outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
Your choices
- Subscriptions: Manage or cancel in Apple Subscriptions.
- Tracking: Control in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Photos: Revoke access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
- Local data: Delete by removing items in the App or uninstalling the App.
App-specific notes
PDFly: Sign & Fill
- PDFs, form fields, and signatures are processed on your device.
- Free users may watch a rewarded video advertisement before sharing or exporting a PDF.
- Premium subscription removes ads and allows direct sharing.
- Saved Sign PDF projects and saved signatures are stored locally in the App’s sandbox.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of our Apps after changes means you accept the updated policy.
